Design of specific and efficient
planarian dsRNAs with ERNAi

 
E-RNAi is a tool for the design and evaluation of RNAi reagents for a variety of species, now including planarian as well. It can be used to design and evaluate long dsRNAs (including esiRNAs) as well as siRNAs. The web interface can process many queries in batch, for up to 50 target sequences in one run.

For specificity calculations, the predicted dsRNAs are blasted against the genomic contigs to minimize off-target effects. The database now includes planarian contigs and MAKER gene predictions from SmedGB.
